I’ve just graduated ran 4.23 kilometres, with an average pace off 7.08. I’m crying I’m so happy. I never thought 9 Weeks ago I would be sitting here weeping and sweating. I’m so happy

Consolidate for a few weeks, repeating your 30 minute runs and then decide whether you want to stick at that or push on to a 10k programme

No you won't... we will be here to help you choose.... so much to think about!

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

The first couple of weeks is all about consolidation and building the legs up.... this has only just begun the process; 30 minute runs.. different routes etc. Runs for pure joy... :)

After you feel you are getting more confident... and have got in plenty of consolidation runs you may take a look at the C25K+ podcasts... (which a few folk hit too soon and don't enjoy them...)

They are great fun.. different and challenging, but so useful for improving the discipline in our running...:)

Just take your time.. don't be in any hurry and enjoy the next few weeks:) Sometimes folk move on far too quickly... often then they get disheartened and they do, sadly, disappear!

Do this in your own time.

We are right here with you:)

Huge Congratulations!!!

As oldfloss said there is lot more beyond this first big achievement and I completely agree with oldfloss on not jumping straight to C25K+ podcasts.

I did tried C25K+ podcasts immediately after graduation run and didn’t enjoyed it. I’m now running 5K in my own time and just enjoying the runs and will keep doing that for next couple of weeks and then probably move to +podcasts. Going for my first park run tomorrow. So a lot more beyond C25K graduation, but this is a huge moment.

Enjoy it and all the best for your upcoming runs 👍🏼

I’m just going to run 30 minutes for the next month or so, maybe do a park run. At the moment it’s all about building my stamina and strength. I’m in no hurry I will take my time

Congratulations! I also finished today but you ran much further than I did. I'm certainly planning on still posting as I would like to speed up a bit and go for 5K. My next goal is a parkrun.
