What have you done to me?

Thought I may be setting myself up for failure today.

I was on a 12 hour night shift last night working a Friday payday weekend full moon rapid response ambulance shift. My plan was to run when I woke up from my post night slumber.... however the forecast for hot hot hot weather later today (although rather overcast at the moment) was not appealing! So I thought maybe I could run tomorrow instead.... but a planned family bbq this evening with the likelihood of wine and running with wine flu was also not appealing .... so I could put off my run til Monday .... or I could change out of my uniform into my running gear and get out there and run W7R2! However much I thought I might die from doing this and running the risk of a call out from my colleagues (over my dead body!) off I set. And although it was a snails pace I did it! So pretty chuffed with that!

Now I’m off to bed.

Night night

Well done. Enjoy your rest. And thanks for being out there picking us up when we come to harm.

Hope you have a restful day.

It's a fantastic feeling, doing it even though you knew you didn't really 'have to'. Well done, enjoy the BBQ!
