Absolutely chuffed to bits, managed to compete the start of week 2 without passing out in the heat! I get really nervous before each run, anyone else?

Week 2, Run 1
I certainly did during week 1 and week 2 but the trepidation has turned to enthusiasm now (I’m only a week in front of you so I don’t know how I’ll feel when I’m up there with the big boys and girls doing the longer runs).
I know that, for me, every completed session made me feel a bit better about myself and I’m already looking forward to challenging myself on Saturday.
Good on you for making it to week 2 and here’s to week 3 for you!
I'm about to start W2R1 tmw......and literally shitting bricks!!!!
But.....that's all I think about....one run at a time.
If I start thinking about the bigger runs......I'll freeze and chicken out!!!! 😅

Yes absolutely horrible scared I won't be able to do each one. I'm fine once I've started though and then on a high when I finish. I did week 2 run 2 on Weds. It is funny how my head comes up with all the reasons I'll struggle...heat, backache but then I tell myself off and get on with it and afterwards on such a high I want to jump around and celebrate! haha! After the last one I was so happy I couldn't wait for my next one even though I'm finding it hard. Today is the day! Fear and excuses for today include heat and eating lots of pizza last night but there is no way I'm not doing it!
Try going out in the morning it makes a lot of difference temp wise. You also feel great at work later on.
