Week 2. Run 1.

I was apprehensive for this run, but also excited to see if I could run longer than the previous week. I could.

Tracky bottoms donned, and ignoring a "Max Wall" thought when I glanced in the mirror, I set off out. Kiss, and the Devil In Me, was the first tune to kick off this session.

I decided to mix this run up a little by including some cross country, instead of just plodding away on tarmac - I headed through some local fields. What a dummy!! Two huge storms in succession have left them rather muddy. Ah well, I suppose I should get used to cleaning my trainers if I'm to stick with C25K ☺

I'm on a 12 hour night shift tonight, and usually try to grab a couple hours sleep beforehand. Sleeping has been impossible with legs switching and head buzzing. I'll try to remember next time, to run after sleep and not before. It's all a learning curve ☺

Crikey, Max Wall, that’ll be going straight over the top of the youngsters heads! Well done on the run, even if it was muddy 👍😁

Hahaha. I thought it might. Definitely showing my age there.

Me too, I can remember when he was on Crossroads 😊

I'm probably more of a mix of Max Wall and Benny from Crossroads 😂

Good job you posted a picture, otherwise I wouldn't have had a clue who you were on about (as if!) Well done for moving on to the next week of this adventure.

My word. The ground’s saturated; you were brave. Glad that you completed and didn’t need rescuing from a muddy fate.

Well done looking forward to reading the next instalment!🙂

There's a fine line between brave and stupid. I walk over the line quite frequently, but I shan't say which side 😂
