C25K done!! π Did the Coventry Parkrun this morning with my 2 kids, finished in 45 minutes so not fast BUT after 30 minutes I kept going and only had a quick power walk when it really got tough! 9 weeks ago I couldn't run for a bus! (week 1 was an absolute killer!) I can hardly believe I've done this!!! This programme is awesome and I have learnt so much along the way. A massive thank you to anyone who has ever commented on my posts, and who has ever said any words of encouragement... Those kind words have really kept me going.. thank you all, and a special thanks to the mentors and admins for all their sound advice which has been very much appreciated! Consolidation runs now for a few weeks ..... And maybe I'll make 10k my target for my 50th next year πππππ ππ

Congratulations! How lovely that you ran it with your kids too
Great work on graduating! πππ Itβs amazing how far we can go with a lot of determination and a bit of support! You can be rightly proud of what youβve achieved. π
Well done! What a way to graduate, with a Parkrun. Having your kids with you must have been a nice encouragement too. On your pic you both look incredibly calm for people who have just run 5k lol! I could hardly breathe after my first and only parkrun.
Well done, sounds like you've planned all the right things. You might find after a few weeks of running for 30 minutes that the C25K+ podcasts are helpful, I certainly found them useful. See here: nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/c...
Hope to see you before too long on Bridge to 10K

Keep running keep smiling.
Thank you, I'll have a read of that! Also thank you for all your advice along the way.... It's been very much appreciated π
Your guide is brilliant. Feeling somewhat cast adrift, don't know how to approach my run 2moro without C25K, but your guide is helpful - just need to make a decision π. Guess I just need to get out there and do it !
Yay you did it, congratulations. π₯ππ₯ππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Get on,you can do it before then. Iβll be 65 in a week and I managed a 10k, out of the blue this morning when I was supposed to be doing week 2 of jujus 10k plan. I donβt expect Iβll do one every week but I much prefer the longer runs to anything under 4k now. I tried doing intervals and just couldnβt get my head round that at all.
Maybe Iβll try that again further down the line
Well done you though and I love the pic. I had an equally pink face this morning in my post run pic
Yes!! Congratulations- youβre a star!!

Aw how lovely to do it with your kids Iβm still trying to persuade my 8 yr old to come running!
Hooray!
Congratulations!
I did my graduation at a ParkRun as well.
It did seem different being surrounded by so many people.
It felt a lot harder to be honest, maybe a bit of anxiety about running with others when I've run alone up until now .. I will keep doing parkrun though and hopefully it will get easier. . I was much more relaxed on my solo 6am jog this morning π
Fantastic!!
