a) Doing anything regularly when your life is running like a soap opera is difficult...and particularly when your 'at sea' experience was enough to make your brain think its still on a boat ----
b) I will never (ever) be fast
c) I MAY be fast enough to overtake speed walkers (old ones)
d) the play list is crucial
e) I run faster in cold climates than hot ones
f)... I think I want to move toward 10k now.......what the heck have I started!
Anyone else heading for 10k after this? (sloooow 10k)

As they say, it's addictive. A bit like beating your head against the wall (tried that first), but hurts more. I was thinking of how to keep up the momentum too.
When I first started this I remember thinking but what will I do at the end of the 5k? Do I HAVE to run forever? But the most amazing thing is I like it😨
You may not be fast but so much fitter. They say speed improves over time so just enjoy the journey (even though everything else may be all at sea !!) Keep going. Not long now before graduation 👩🎓😉👍🏃♀️👌
You are doing brilliantly Katwpg! I’m sure you can do a 10k no matter how slow you go! And if it takes 2 days and a sleepover at a Premier Inn it will still count! 😀
