Go with the program. It’s designed by experts and it works.

I was a club coach in middle distance after I gave up marathons and triathlons, so with due respect I am an expert.

Why bother doing it then 🤷🏽‍♀️ Do your own thing if you’re an expert.

Because I’m using it for motivation.

Fair enough. It is nice to see the progress completing each run 👍🏽

I was thinking of trying a Go-Tri. Went to Leeds to watch the World Series on Sunday. Love watching triathlons. The swimming bit puts me off having a go.

Tash, I turned to the Tri because of the injuries I was suffering doing up to 100 miles a week. It cut down my injuries by 90%. I have coached tri as well while I was with the RAF. Treat it as fun and breast stroke if you want. I once saw a butchers bike in a Tri at Peterborough back in the 80s. It put things into perspective.

I don’t suppose I could get away with wearing Lycra anymore 😂😂😂

I might just have a go. It’s something different. Bit of fun 👍🏽 Professional Triathletes are awe inspiring!

I second Tasha99. Stick with the programme, it’s tried and tested and based on science. By week 9 you’ll be running for 30 minutes without having picked up any injuries on the way.
