So the time finally arrived last Tuesday...I GRADUATED!! Seriously cannot believe Iβve learnt to run...I used to mimic vomiting if ever anyone suggested I run lol. To celebrate I booked myself into the Race for Life on Sunday and completed my first full 5k in 36 minutes!πππ»
Apart from wanting to scream about my graduation (lol) I wanted to share a thought and here it is.
Yes I completed the c25k but it took me 16 weeks instead of the suggested 9 weeks. There were weeks that I struggled with the pace, times that I felt unwell and also snow got involved! Instead of stressing or giving up I just chose to repeat weeks until I felt confident. The moral is that life happens, so I would urge anybody whose struggling or doubting themselves to take the program at your own pace as you will get there....think the tortoise & the hareπ
Good luck with your journey! Xx
