Very well done you!

Doesn’t that feel grand?

Now just consolidate for a few weeks while you decide what you do next.

Keep on running though!!!

It truly feels amazing - ridiculously proud considering I never really understood how people could run for so long!! Got to keep this up - I miss it when I don’t do it. I’m still about 1.2k away from a 5k tho so that’s my new goal. Get to 5k and then get to it in 30 mins! Couldn’t have done it without reading all these positive posts here xx

Good aim, but do take it steady! I can now run 5k, but never in less than 35 minutes, even 6 months after graduating.

I would suggest concentrating on either speed or distance after a few weeks just getting comfortable running at least 30 minutes 3 times a week. But you are right, not trying to do both at once.

I read on here that we need to build our running legs for a while, and I certainly believe that to be true.

Good luck.

Thank you BarbieW will deffo heed your advice - want to keep on consolidating for a few more weeks. I also want to run outside as I did 95% of the program on a treadmill so getting used to running in the sunshine might be nice.

Well done . I hope to join you soon. I was all set for my last run about a month ago but pulled a muscle in my calf after a minutes run and had to stop! Tried again a week later- ditto. So disappointed. Went out last night and easily completed Wk1R1 so I’m going to build up again and then work up to graduation. I’m determined! Will you keep going?

Hi Taraboodle! So sorry to hear about your pulled muscle - I hope it’s feeling better? I will absolutely keep going - today was my first consolidating run and I went up to 32mins just to get to 4K! I find as long as I set goals it keeps motivated! You’ve got this keep on going!!! Look forward to hear about your graduation!
