Week 5 Run 3 - thank you for the encouragement!!

I posted earlier in the week that I had completed Week 5 Run 1 and that I was not confident about Week 5 Run 3 and lots of you commented with encouragement and motivation.

This morning I set my alarm for 6am (which is unheard of on a day off work!) and got up and went for my run. After the brisk walk and a few minutes of running I thought “can I really do this for 20 minutes?!”. But I just kept going. And then I had run for 5 minutes. And then 10. And then 15. And then 20!!!! My legs were hurting but I felt like I could have maybe gone on longer even....

I am amazed that 5 weeks ago those 1 minute runs were a struggle and now I’ve just run 20 of them in a row!

Thank you to everyone for the encouragement!
