Thank you. Week 9 run 3 done

My journey started on 6th March on a treadmill at the gym where like many I struggled to run for 1 minute and couldn't see how I would get to Week 2 let alone the end. Around Week 5, after reading so many positive posts I transitioned outside leaving the treadmill behind. It was tough - I found it much harder - so much to consider even simple things like tying hair back so I could see - there was weather, dogs, cars, hills (well slopes really 😊). But I persevered, going back a couple of weeks and repeating until I was comfortable. Today I did it week 9 run 3 and wanted to share particularly with those who are just starting you can do this - believe and stick with it - I am fitter, feel better and really wish i hadn't left it until I was 51 to try this. I love being outside on my early run - I call to the chickens, talk to the rabbits (not sure they listen). I love the weather and am even learning to love 'hills' All of this is thanks to the program and all of the inspirational posts here. Thank you xxx

I remember struggling badly on week 1 but am now approaching 2 years since my first Parkrun, have completed several 10k runs and a half marathon and have signed up for my first marathon! All that from having to pause the app because I couldn't run for a full minute! Heartiest congratulations!
