Beginning of week 2 and just not feeling it!

Week 1 went well, but I am sore everywhere today and feel exhausted. It was my little boys party yesterday so that has added to me feeling so tired I think.

I am scheduled to complete W2R1 today. I couldn’t face it this morning when I dragged myself out of bed. I’m just hoping I feel more enthusiasm once the kids are in bed tonight. What has happened to me that I am feeling like this so early on 🏃‍♀️😢

I remember a 'fairies and footballers' party many years ago, that almost made me take to my bed for a week! If you are tired, give yourself another rest day- but commit to going out tomorrow or you may lose momentum. Don't be too hard on yourself; family life can be tough!

You are tired. As Helenwheels says, give yourself another rest day.

Don’t be too hard on yourself sounds like you are really tired and have been super busy. If you can get out tonight that’s great but tomorrow will be ok too! This challenge for me was just as much, if not more mental than physical x x

Thanks, it’s a bit of both for me. I’m massively overweight so physically it’s demanding, but a huge mental challenge for me too! I am committed to this though and determined to be a good role model to my kids!

I felt the same on Friday - I swam on Thursday and it was all a bit much. My advice would be to get out and do a bit, even if it's just a Week 1 session.

I went out this afternoon and completed W2R1 and it was relatively painless. It was just so hot, but it really helped me unwind after work. I think I made the right decision to take another rest day as I was able to complete the run properly and felt good after it. Thanks for the support and advice all of you.
