I graduated this morning! Not my best run (boo) or my worst run (yay), but I still ran for 30 minutes for the third time, so I’ll take it! I was a little slower than I wanted, but perhaps I was subconsciously savouring the moment. 😂
I finished with a lap of the park where I started all those weeks ago, and felt a bit misty-eyed and proud thinking of how far I’ve come from the time when I struggled to keep running for 3 minutes.
No attempt at a funny post today; just a real and heartfelt thank you to all of you for being such a brilliant and supportive community. It is amazing to know so many people here are rooting for you, and there is so much help and advice on offer if you need it.
There are lots of people whose posts I love reading heading towards the podium right now, and I’ll be right there, cheering all of you on.
@Loobylou43 - Cthulhu was willing and the creek didn’t rise, so I’m handing you the baton for later this morning. Go get it, girl!

Yay! Well done...it's amazing how 3 min runs seem so long ago and yet it's only a few short weeks. And look at us...all runners! Congratulations x 🏃♀️🏅
Thank you! It does feel like a real achievement. I'm ever so grateful for everyone here - it's kept me going and given me a real spur on to the finish line.
It's a huge acheivement. We forget so soon because it's small increments, just how hard the early days were...the fear at running 3, 5 or even 8 minutes instilled in us and now 30! It's massive in fact 👍😉
Huge congratulations! Woo Hoo! 🎉🎊🥇. That is a fantastic photo! If someone would just move that smile out of the way I’d be able to see what you look like!
