Hi everyone. I’ve been a couch potato for years and done yo-yo dieting on and off.
After sitting watching the amazing courage of people injured in the Manchester arena bombing I decided to get off my arse and start the Couch to 5K. They overcame immense pain and there was I thinking “wow they’re fantastic” and if they can do it why can’t I with no physical barriers!
So here I am about to start week 4 on Monday and loving it! My hubby and daughter thought I’d have given up after the first run but I’m determined to do it!
I’ll let you know when I do!!

Well done Rachelkuuk, very inspirational, I also watched the Manchester 10k a few weeks ago on TV, amazing stories from some of the competitors, yes you can do it, who knows once you complete this C25K program you could continue with training for a 10K and be a competitor in next years Manchester 10K if you wish.
I started back in March and when I saw the Great Manchester Run this year it inspired me to continue through the long runs and gave me the ambition to do the 10k run next May.
