Just wondering if everyone here takes two days off in a row between weeks or do some of you run every other day? I'm back to the start of week 3 after a long time on the sick couch. I've rested today and I'm keen to get back on it tomorrow. Should I wait till Monday?

Being keen is brilliant but still recommend rest days and the two rest days between weeks is very important. The body is then ready for a new challenge. Why not try a walk, swim or cycle if you want to do something so you are using different muscles?
I've been running on alternate days for well over two months now since I came back from injury, completing the whole nine weeks this way and no problems. If your body feels up to it go for it. It works for me though there are occasions coming up eg travel when I know I will need a two day rest , and I think it helps knowing I can have a two day rest anytime I want. But the two day cycle works well and means you get to run on different days too which is great. Mon Wed Fri Sun This week and then next week Tues Thurs Sat. Easy to plan ahead too as always odd or even days in the month. But do take two days if you need to!
Thanks for all the advice, As I have already completed the course earlier in the year and I'm in much better shape then the first time round I've decided to give alternate days a try. I will listen to my body 'though. Today I woke up itching to get started on week 3. So I did and it was lush.
