Yes you can do it, nice that you have lost 3 stone with sw, good luck with your C25K journey.

You can definitely do it!

But just don’t focus on the weightloss. You might not actually see any. What you might see instead is that your clothes fit a little better whilst the scale hasn’t moved at all.

Focus on how you feel fitter, how you can run for longer than you thought you could. And obviously stick to slimming world if that’s what’s worked for you so far, obviously the exercise will help, but running for 30 minutes for 3 times a week isn’t really enough to see significant weightloss.

This isn’t to demotivate you at all, I’m trying to not let you demotivate yourself further down the line if you don’t see any movement on the scales :) motivate yourself more with how your clothes fit etc.

Good luck and keep posting :D

Fully agree with Sortyourlife . This isn't a weight loss programme but it will get you fitter and your body shape will change so that your clothes fit better. Don't fixate on the scales and get disheartened. One thing about running, actually two, is the need for very good hydration at all times (pale pee) which initially can look like weight gain, and muscle repair. When running, or any exercise really, micro tears are made in your muscles. To repair them fluid accumulates in them and helps them repair and get stronger which is why you need rest days (it's rest days where you get stronger) and, again you might see a bit of gain. But don't give up all this balances out and you will be both fit and svelt.
