Ive just done run 2 of week one any my legs were still sore quads from the first run. From being sporty in my youth is the c25k sure you just follow the plan as warm up walk warm down walk no stretching etc. Is it the idea to carry on if legs ache silly question but want too complete it. Many thanks

Welcome and well done getting started.

Aches are normal, and will improve as you progress. Any sharp and sudden pain is different, it’s not advisable to run though those.

Post run stretches help a lot and should be done with the muscles still warm... static stretches should be avoided before you run though. A brisk walk should be sufficient as a warm up for C25K purposes, but some people add in dynamic stretches.

The FAQ contains a load of useful information and links. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.

How long did you have between run 1 and run 2? read the guide to the plan and slow down then slow down more. If you need extra rest days take them

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes links to stretches which I would recommend that you do immediately after every run, while muscles are still warm and supple.

Enjoy your journey.

Havent worked out how to do new post. But wk1 run 3 just completed. Was hardest one yet as needed motivation to go. Not sure if this is doable 1 on your own hard. 2 raining. 3 nights getting darker. 4 making excuses already after week one. Any ideas to keep going
