Will I be okay to run tomorrow + which option will be best? (Plus hayfever is back with a vengeance!)

Hey so I was a little sad this evening and with the sun shining bright I figured I’d go out for an evening walk.

I ended up going out for longer and further than expected and at a faster pace. I did 8k and averaged about 10 min/km pace, that was with the first half spent on the phone to my sister so was slightly slower then.

I’m planning on doing my second run of week 2 tomorrow. I have two options:

1. Go out at 5am (I’ll be awake anyway, dropping the other half off at work) and be outside, which is what I have been doing and liking

Or

2. Go to the gym with my boyfriend at around 1pm and do it there on the treadmill.

With it only being week 2 will I be okay to run in around 8 hours time after this walk or should I wait till the afternoon?

I’ll probably go to the gym either way but do something different if I do the run in the morning - maybe go on the bikes or do some weights ey.

Also I developed hayfever in my mid teens, and haven’t been too bad in recent years. Thought I was okay this year, not had any itchy eyes or anything. Boy was I wrong, ended up sneezing a few times on my way round and did a string of about 10 sneezes (no exaggeration) as soon as I walked through the door again. Blerhhhhh

Okay yay! I know but I was walking at a pretty fast pace and definitely worked up a sweat. Just checking I wasn’t killing my legs off by only leaving 8 hourish in between 😄

You’ll probably feel great after a 5am run! It’s in the bag early too! 😁❤️

Yeah that’s the plan! Cool air, I feel good and out of the way too, especially whilst it’s light at that time 😄

You might feel it in your legs, but you should be fine to run.

Aye this is what I’m scared of, but I’m figuring with it being one of the early runs it’ll be fine

Well I did it and my legs did feel it a little, but at least it’s done for the day now and was lovely and quiet ☺️
