Week 6 run 1 - I thought it was okay

Maybe I'm a freak, I have read so many posts saying week 6 run 1 was a struggle. I did it today, and quite enjoyed it. I put my stats into my app and my pace was slower, but I enjoyed the run.

I ran a different route and maybe the hill slowed me down, but then the free run on the downhill should have made up for that. The different route meant that I had a little way to go by the time my run was over, so I ran a little further because my legs felt okay.

I'm not getting smug here, because I might really hit the wall on my next run. πŸ˜…

Nice and steady pace, all those other posts told me to treat this run with some respect. Good luck!

Thanks, just don't want to sound like I'm boasting because I'm not at all.

No - not boasting at all. Why shouldn't you celebrate your highs as well as everyone else. Good on ya!

Great!! It's just the going back to a split run makes it feel harder after the buzz of the 20min run.

The new route and going cautious will have helped I'm sure. You're on your way now though! Keep it up, you're doing great πŸ‘πŸ˜

Thanks πŸ˜€

Well done! We r all different- I don't think everyone found that one hard. I think I did mainly coz I was on such a high from W5R3. Mind you I've just found R2 just as hard..... it's great that you enjoyed it. Good luck & keep us posted with the rest of W6.

You are certainly not a freak! Well done you! πŸ˜€That was my favourite run simply because ( after the 20mins) I knew that I could do it & went out feeling confident. Enjoy the rest of W6.πŸ˜ƒ
