I felt like doing third run of first week the day after the second run, but thought it best to behave so had a rest day. The day came for third run and I didn't feel like it at all, but I did it. I started week 2 after a rest day and it still felt difficult but only as difficult as week one.
I regard everything time I go 'running' as a minor miracle. Imagine that, three miracles a week!
I really hope I keep this up, but I'm not pressuring myself. I tell myself I'm free to give up whenever I want, like the first time it rains on a run day, but I'm intrigued to see if I really can build up enough stamina to run for more than a couple of minutes.
I've had sore thigh muscles, but that seems to be settling nicely. Changed my diet too and am feeling pretty good. The gorgeous weather helps.
Happy summer everyone

Your 3 small miracles a week will soon mount up to 30 minutes of a miracle. All you have to do is just stick with it and don't give up. When it seems hard, slow down but don't give up.
You will soon see the miracles starting to happen because of this programme.
Holding this lightly is important, but so is not giving up entirely. If you struggle at all, shout out here and we will all try to help.
Running in the rain is surprisingly pleasant. I hope you get to try it in the early weeks. It’s great on a day when you have time to have a hot bath straight after the run.
