So I foolishly went out drinking last night and had a few too many to feel fit to run this morning. Woke up late. Felt fairly cruddy. Had a brew. Checked the weather forecast and saw this afternoon and tomorrow being bad. So I pulled myself together and went and ran.

Well. That extra 30 seconds is a bit hard. I spent the last third of each running part really wishing that it was over. By the final run I was on the verge of stopping when the lovely Jo Wiley came and saved me with the end.

My other runs this week will be Weds and Fri due to work commitments so there will be a bigger gap to the next run than I’d like.

Again, if I can do this I’m pretty sure most people without a disability or illness can. Good luck everyone starting W2 this week.

Very well done.. and if you do have a night before session.. make sure you are well hydrated ( water) for the running :)

Lesson learned. I won’t mix drinking and running again.

Well done for getting out in spite of feeling worse for wear!

Hopefully you'll feel better prepared for the next ones. 👍😊

Hangover running - something I did once and vowed never again! But well done on getting out there and an extra day or two rest won’t hurt you at all at this stage.

Good luck and happy running for rest of W2
