I've been really anxious about moving on to week 2, so I've repeated week 1 three times but today I had promised myself I'd try my first week 2 run. I can hardly believe it, but I did it! I managed all the 90-second runs! So I have a bit more confidence that I can keep up with the programme and move on to week 3 after I've done the next two sessions of week 2. I even ticked the little smiley face on my Couch to 5 app on my 'phone because I'm actually starting to feel happy about getting outside for a run and I'm looking forward to my first Park Run the Saturday before Christmas!

Same Saturday I’m looking at running my first full parkrun... wherever we’re doing it, I’ll be running it with you. Good job beating the first step up. Let that confidence grow... you can do this.

Excellent

It's amazing what we can do when we believe in ourselves 👍😁

I was apprehensive about moving forward to week 2 as well, but once I did I was pleasantly surprised that I could do it. There’s nothing wrong with repeating runs until you’re feeling ready and Im going to be repeating w2r3 before moving on to week 3, keep going and remember to keep the pace slow 😁🏃🏼‍♀️

Well done.

To perform at your best you need to approach this all with a positive attitude, devoid of tensions and anxieties.

The plan works, trust it.

This might help healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Relax and enjoy it.

always trust the programme. I don't know why but this thing works. I am about to start week 9. I am 52 and found the very first weeks run hard. you will surprise yourself at what you can do.

Not what you're looking for?
