Just completed the above after a two-day break due to aches, pains and strains :) The extra day's rest helped as the strain I was feeling last week has gone.

Run felt goodish and I didn't feel that I was struggling. I did let my mind wander and started to ask myself how long I still had to go? The thought only lasted a moment. Just goes to show that the "get it over and done with" feeling is always there, ready to pounce when you least expect it.

Next run, Thursday. Watch this space!!

My next week 2 run is Thursday too. I found today’s hard but I recovered much quicker than last time. I think this scheme really does work if you take it slow. Well it’s got me going anyway even if I stay on week 2 for the rest of my life!

Keep it up! From what I've read, you need to concentrate on duration and not distance and pace. It does work, so long as you believe in it and aim to progress rather than stay for ever on W2!! We'll swap notes on Thursday :)

Just finished third run for week 2! Who knows what’s in store for week 3 🙈How did you do? 😊

Did my W2R2 earlier this evening. Found it easier than the last run. R3 will be on Saturday and then onto W3. Niggling achilles heel ache but trying to run it off. Looking forward to R3 and then onto W3R1 on Monday.

Yes I found w2R2 easier but tonight’s R3 was tiring. No niggles as yet which I’m surprised about. But you really do have to rest between runs.

Yeah...I know. I would leave it for an extra day, but it didn't feel too bad tonight, so off I went. I'll have to see how it goes.

A wise decision to rest those aches.

The "want to stop" gremlins need flattening - don't we all know it! A good mix of determination and distraction does the trick! Well done you! 😀

Well done, slow and steady and you'll get there 👏

Well done on completing Wk 2 R1. I have had little niggling aches and pains too and I've just done Wk 2 R3 but I just noticed that leaving a 2 day break in between has helped me and I didn't ache as much today. I think the advice on here is great about listening to your body and doing what's right for you as we are all individuals.

Keep going, I know you will smash it.
