Glad I got up to do this one early, then didn’t let myself wear a running jacket because I thought it felt chilly! Was nervous of sudden jump to 20mins, but all went well with no dramas. Just set off slow and steady, as everyone’s been recommending. It’s the first time I’ve lacked confidence in Laura telling me in the app that I can do this, but thank you Laura, you were right and this programme definitely works!❤️
Now time to start getting nervous about all the bad comments I’ve seen about W6...😂😂😂

Thanks Dudders61, and good luck for tomorrow.❤️ 🍀🍀
I tried setting off a bit slower than normal to see if that would help, but surprisingly ended up able to pick up pace at the end anyway. As Laura said in the app, I think running continuously without stopping to walk inbetween is really more of a psychological hurdle than a physical one at this point, and if we’ve done all the runs before it then we should manage fine as long as we don’t go too fast.
Thanks Saartjie. ❤️ Yes - if you’d asked me a few weeks ago if I thought I’d get to run for 20 mins without my neck and back locking up completely afterwards then I’d not have thought it at all likely! Glad I found this C25K programme, as that’s the only way I’ve been able to slowly develop a different running style that my spine seems able to cope with. 🏃♀️🏃♀️😊
