30 minutes- wow !!

Just back from WK9R1. Hard but managed it. At a few points I was definitely running on the spot to get my breath back. Still running really slowly .3.5k in 30 mins.

I actually don’t mind that tho as when this programme finishes I want to go for a run, enjoy it and then have a little walk back. I really admire those peeps that want to carry on and push themselves further but that has never been me. I am beyond proud just to be able to run at all.

Have a lovely day everyone- happy running x

Well done. It’s a great feeling isn’t it. I’ve just got back in from my week 9 run 1. Never thought I would get to this point. I’m like you though.....run very slowly but at least I’m running!!!! Good luck with the rest of the week. See you on the podium soon x

Well done! I'm just back from W7R3 and did 3.5km including the walks. Pace will come later... For now I'm just chuffed that I did a different route (as on holiday) which included an upwards slope and survived to tell the tale 🤣🤣🤣

Mumsygill profile image

Hells bells- an upward slope! What’s that? Have managed to avoid those for eight weeks! I had a little holiday and ran then too. Was lovely to be somewhere different. Enjoy and well done !

I know! I have avoided them running around Coventry. Damn Welsh hills haha!! Keep going... You're almost at the finish line 😀👍😀

Well Done - 30 mins is a long time to run for no matter how far you go!

I read a post from someone here (wish I could remeber who!) about running post graduation. They just went for a run....no set distance, no set time..... they just ran until they wanted to stop. A bit like going out for a walk - I love that idea :-)

Thanks Hun. Yep that will be me. In my mind I will run down to sea front, get a Costa and walk back ! Will let you know if I do it.

Hope you’re having a lovely week with your son x

Are you and _SimonT_ still locked in a desperate battle to the death to be the C25K "Hunk of the Month"? What with your shorts and his promised "panting sweating treadmill selfies" you know that this will just end badly.... :-)

Well done! I did the same run at 6:15 this morning, thought it would be cool but was very humid even then. Be proud of yourself, I bet you never imagined you’d be running for a full 30 minutes a few weeks ago! I am going slow and steady too, the podium is only two runs away....🐢🐌🏃🏻‍♀️

Hi Mumsygill, Well done on this run 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️I am wondering whether you had another run since? All the very best for your running journey.

Hello! In a nutshell I have done run 2 and had planned my graduation run for yesterday.

Sadly we have spent the last five days up at my in laws where MIL passed away yesterday.

As we didn’t expect to be there so long I didn’t take my running gear .

Am now hoping g to graduate this weekend sometime - if I haven’t forgotten how to do it!! X
