This week has been my long awaited week off work, I worked late last Friday slept in and came home Saturday morning feeling exhausted so we lazed away the day, we had a lovely gentle 5k run on Sunday and a look at the sea

Thursday night at work the dreaded norovirus hit so i was very careful and thought i’d got away with it, sadly not so and we’ve spent most the week clutching our tummies and sleeping

I rashly signed us up for ju ju’s magic plan and thought we had to start today but looks like we have a couple of weeks to prepare

We went out this morning with the aims of running for 30 minutes and running without Willow hobbling home

What a lovely run!!! just over 3k in 30 minutes and Willow said afterwards “i actually enjoyed some of that and you are right if we go slow enough i don’t hurt my knee”

We have run faster I have run longer but post belly ache that was a very satisfying run roll on Sunday

Thank you I can run and run if the pace is slow Willow tends to run on and then hurts his knee so today we took it very easy and for the first time in ages he came home pain free

Thank goodness that noroviris is over, you seem to have enjoyed your run today, that is very nice to know, good luck for Ju Ju 10K training program. 😊 Enjoy your run on Sunday.

Thanks we will, we will never be fast but our slow comfortable run is faster than it used to be, only a few weeks ago we were aiming for 10 minute kilometers and now the slow gentle ones are all under that, the longer time goes on the stronger we get
