Did week 8 run 2 earlier. Found it tough but I did two and a half extra hours at work and hadn’t had any tea. I know now that I need fuel before I run, makes sense really! Still I persevered and didn’t stop even though I really wanted to! Roll on run 3 on Friday or Saturday
So close to graduation!!: Did week 8 run... - Couch to 5K
So close to graduation!!
Not sure this will help, but me too! Didn't want to head out, just tired and minimal food today (dodgy sandwich at lunch). Did remember to hydrate well, but I also found it tough. You'll see from my own post that the pace also didn't help! You're doing so well. We'll get there together. 🏃♀️💨🏃♀️💨
Well done for getting through it! 😀 I think as we get closer to the end it becomes more and more important that we eat and hydrate properly so we can cover the longer sessions comfortably 🙂
Good luck with the next run. It seems like there’s quite a few of us aiming to graduate over the next week or two 🏆🤞 I’m sure we’ll all be there cheers each other on! 👏🙌
All the best 👍
I'm at the same stage should be doing run 3 tonight but it's my granddaughters birthday so not sure I'll get back in time so it may have to wait till tomorrow...we can do this ! Nearly there 😁😁
I found week 8 run 2 hard. I too have found if I don't drink enough I end up with a headache afterwards. Not sure how I managed to get this far but i think we must all share the same determination to get to the end. In some ways I think I'll feel a bit lost without Laura.
Yeah! Another week 8 superhero!!
Dig in, not far to go now!. Well done Suzie
# We can do it!
We have just completed week 9! We don't eat before a run but we do drink a glass of water. That has a double effect. It hydrates and for the distances we are doing that is enough. It also staves off hunger pangs. We also run first thing in the morning. It is cooler and less busy and sets us up for the day.
Where you run will also make a difference to how you feel. Some like to run in four walls at home, some like the Gym. We love the great outdoors and the early morning nature. It gives us a spur on towards the goal of getting to 5K (still to do) But whatever way you do it, keep on keeping on. Not far to go now
