Keep it up as you are so close. If you find it too cold how about just running that extra 2 minutes if you feel you are able and you will have done it. I have just found out that I am not running 5k even though I am running 35 mins now. It doesn't matter everytime gives me a sense of achievement. Just keep going.
Hi Viktor well done you are just a bit ahead of me. I am due week 7 run 2 today. I have retreated into the gymn and treadmill for the last couple of weeks. A bit woosie re the cold and body feeling like it needs more than just one day rest. Here's to graduation!
Me too, norun, did my W7 R2 this morning - on the treadmill, too. I run outside at the weekend when I can run in daylight, but funnily enough, I find running outside a tad easier? What're you gonna change your name to - you can't stay as "norun" when you "dorun"!!
Ha ha! Yes you are right I am running even though I NEVER thought I could! Aiming to get to week 9, graduate with 30 minutes and then concentrate on getting to 5k - am bit off the pace at the mo! Definitely feeling the benefits of running. Might even become fitn55is!
Yes, I'm not aiming for anything grand! Like you, I'd just like to be able to say that I can run 5k in a semi reasonable time! Good luck for the next couple of weeks! xx
Well done. I am due to do week 8, run 1 tomorrow here's hoping I am just as successful. Cannot believe how far I have come, about two months ago the thought of running for three minutes was ludicrous! Running in the cold is tough, although the benefit is by the end of the warm up walk I am pretty keen to run in order to warm up!
I'm just behind you, running up and trying to catch you!! I'm just doing week 7 (R 3 next run) and still finding it tough!!! I keep thinking it's gonna get easier soon - hoping so anyway! Every run, at about 10 mins in, the little mind bugs take over and tell me I can't do it! Funny, they're very similar to the mind bugs that tell me that I've just GOT to have chocolate! Hoping I can kick all of them into touch soon! Good luck with the next couple of weeks - the end is in sight!
