W9R2.... getting close to graduation!!

Back to early morning running today and couldn’t have had a better day for it ! Dry, clear skies and cool ... enjoyed evening running last time, but think the heat now would have been a slight challenge.

Another uneventful run ... except the bus driver beeped and waved ! Not sure if he meant to but it was one of those moments where you wave back and then think, was that for me??

Pace was good, slightly faster than R1 ... and was pleased with distance too. No aches or pains and am finding my heart rate recovering really quick now ... this running lark is doing me good all round.

Next run Saturday ... the graduation run ... I’m just 30 minutes of running from graduation... I can not believe it ! 26 runs in and one to go !! Bring on Saturday!!

Wow! Graduation run coming up! Well done for your drama free penultimate run of the program. So pleased for you! You are now reaping the benefits of all the hard work that you have put in.

You’d better believe it, it’s true 😀. Can’t wait to read your graduation write-up! 👍

Thanks Jools ... and for your encouragement and support ... and the baseball cap for running, genius!!

I’m still in a sense of disbelief that just over 50 days ago I put running shoes on for the first time in decades ... and did 1 minute runs ! To now, 30 mins !

Glad to be of service, being part of this forum has helped me more than you know 🙂.

I’m still in disbelief that I’m running at all! Never having done it before before and then deciding to do it at 66!
