Week 5 run 3 in the bag

Ok so this is the one! I decided to take all the advice - stayed calm, didn't go off too fast and breath calmly...and it worked! I actually got into a good rythmn and forgot about how longs left/how far etc. Actually started to build speed in the last five mins but started getting a sharp pain in the left side of my chest! Any ideas what this is? My breathing felt fine so I eased off a little. Going for this long is definitely in the mind and my body felt ready.

I actually found this easier than run 2 this week! Think it's coz resting gives your legs a chance to feel the burn...here's to week 6!

Well done. No idea about the pain but glad you found this easier than the interval runs.

Yay! You can do it!

Don't know what the pain is, maybe over exertion (?).

Keep going and keep posting.
