I know it's not Saturday but I thought I would try my local Park Run Course (Barnsley) as I am scared of doing it with loads of people, I know I'm daft but didn't fancy extra pressure. Just wanted to see if I could handle the hills which I never have been able to do before. Smashed it in my record time for 5k after wanting to pack in on the last lap, can't believe it so going to chill out on my graduation run Friday and just enjoy it. People on this forum have inspired me all way through the programme, it doesn't matter about the times it's about the doing, the feeling after a run is something special a feeling I've never had before, roll on Friday!
26 Down 1 To Go!: I know it's not Saturday but I... - Couch to 5K

Brilliant well done! Super time too
I did the opposite and walked my Parkrun course this morning as it's a rest day today. My son who is asthmatic is doing it with me in a couple of weeks and I need to get a plan together as there's no way he will have enough puff to run all the way! Walked it in 50 mins so if we scouts pace it I reckon I can get him round in under 45 mins.
Good Luck with your Graduation run x
Well done you! Ticked R2 off earlier today so still hoping that we shall meet on the podium on Friday! The excitement is mounting!
Wowsa! You were shifting some on that fast pace number. "All Time Best" is says too. How good does that feel? Well done you sir!!
Just one of those good feeling days Sallenson (I've had a few bad ones too) I've worked out I'm better running in the morning after a Bulletproof coffee and banana and no alcohol the night before. First time I've ever took running serious but it's been worth it, think I've finally grown up at 52!!!
