Quite enjoyed the structure of having Laura tell me when to jog and walk and felt proud of myself for getting it done. I know by reading many blogs on this site that this program is successful, I just hope I can do it justice and have the strength to see it through. It's only going to work if I put the effort in and thats what scares me. I've started lots of diets and exercise plans and have given up when the going gets tough and the novelty wears off. Time will tell but I really do hope that I will get there however long it takes and will be blogging as i go (1st time i've done anything like this so think it will help me a lot). Here's to our future posts and supporting each other along the way :) x x

Well done for getting over the first huddle and getting out of the door. The plan does work but at times it is very much a mental challenge as well as a physical challenge. You will have good runs and bad runs and may have set backs along the way ( I've had injury set backs followed by confidence issue on my first run back on plan) but you will find lots of support here that motivates you to continue.

Welcome aboard :-)

Well done for getting started, Leyther1! I've got to week 4 so far and for me I think week 1 was the hardest of the first 3 weeks - something to do with the number of runs each time. Although the runs become longer as the weeks progress, they are less in number and I found that easier to deal with psychologically. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have so far! Keep it up!

Thanks Fittervic! Wonder if it'll be the same for me? I'll soon find out. Good luck to you!
