I am still finding the 5 minute runs a challenge. Possibly the prospect of the dreaded W5 now looming closer by the run is playing mind games on me. In that sense I think it is more psychological than physical, as I am slowing down and taking it nice and easy, but I keep thinking that if 5min is hard I will never be able to do 20 min next week...
Who knows what the next three runs will bring. Hopefully I will soon be looking back and scoffing at my own fear. Hopefully...

This is so much about mind over matter. Try not to look ahead as you’re not ready for those runs yet, but if you’re following the programme you will be ready when you get to them. This programme really works, believe it and believe in yourself and you’ll do it. 👍🏽
You are so right: the program has been fantastic so far and I just need to keep at it. Wonderfully, I still look forwards to my runs before they happen - it is the during that gets harder haha - which must be a good sign! Thank you for taking the time with my little insecurities X
dont worry about future runs, i was worried about wk5, but i done my 1st run of wk5 this morn and was amazed how well i done, and il deal with the 20 min run when it comes. keep doing your best u will surprise yourself X
You’ll do fine, trust the programme and keep your speed down, it’s about time not distance/pace... build those running legs and get your rest/recovery days in and you will nail it.
