It's in the bag with just over 7k which for me is great. Next couple of runs will be intervals and shorter, but I'm getting there :-D

I'm sort of doing my own b210k- week 1 run 3 with daughter immediately followed by Stamina, carried on running through warm up and warm down, then also through warm up for for Speed so did 7.75km in total today, in pouring rain. It's all fairly flat at daughters, which makes things easier, next 3 runs will be at home around shifts and with hills, so will have to think about routes!

I am awestruck! I'd be in a state of total collapse during what you've done! And in the rain, too! Fantastic, Poppy!

Great going Delia! :) Are you following a 6 week or 9 week program out of interest?

It's a 5 week program, but Swanscot advised me aginst 3 long runs a week. So I do 1 or 2 runs with "Samantha" -- (USA version of Laura with much Britney Spears and Shakira to run to, which is nice) and a Speed with Laura and a shorter 30/35 minute run each week. Although this week I di Wednesday and today with Sam. Monday Speed and Weds back to B210K. There's no rush. I can run for an hour, I just need to speed up and I'm sure I'll do that in time. Dx

Gosh you are doing very well. I have done 2 wk2 runs and was completely exhausted for the rest of the day after the last one. Feel not making too much progress and beginning to think not built to run any further - or just need to run later in the day and go staright to bed afterwards!! May apply for the olympic park run as incentive to keep going. Keep up the good work.

I see wht you mean about the "not built to run any further" -- I don't reckon I'll get much further in an hour, and the second half hour is definitely slow, but, the physical and mental advantages are so worth it! Lots of lactic acid in the old legs this morning :-D

Hi Delia. Well done, you! I am falling behind you, still dithering around and haven't downloaded W4. I have to say Samantha drives me insane so I just find out what her plan is then do my own thing. This week I've done Stepping Stones and Stamina twice (not altogether, ha ha. I wish!),plus an extra 10 mins on Saturday and I'm going out in a minute when I've finishedd my cuppa. I think I may take a dive next week as I'm working loads at my new job! But will try and fit runs in around my shifts. If I run with my friend Penny,as I am this morning, we usually runner an hour or so but I'm still not stretching my distance out much (7km max so far) - generally because of those pesky hills rearing up every so often! But hey-ho, on we go! X
