I completed my W7R1 this morning but as with my first 25 Minute run in W6 I've been let down by the App!
On Sunday mornings W6R3, I got notification and encouragement that I was halfway through and then "nothing". I'm sure I ran way over the 25 minutes just to be sure, but having to deal with the added mental battle of wondering how far you've got left, with no words of encouragement takes some of the enjoyment out of this program that I have been loving, so far.
This morning I made sure I had a stopwatch going just to be sure and again the app crashed after just 5 minutes of running!!
I'm very proud of how far I've come, I started this journey as an 45 year old over weight man, who hadn't done any real exercise since my school years and found even doing my shoelaces up left me out of breath. So to come this far in just over 40 days and now run for a full 25 minutes is something I thought I would never achieve.
Has anyone else experienced these issues with the App? I think i'll end up uninstalling/reinstalling it to see if that works and hopefully I can get things back to normal and stop doubting how long I've run for.

I have had a few issues too. Been ok lately. I changed to the podcast which you can download online and play through your music player, the music isn't great, but it's a compromise for knowing it is still running. I still managed to mess up when my wireless earphones went dead which in turn pauses the music. But of course I knew instantly and quickly pressed play. A few seconds delay rather than what seems like an age waiting to see if the app is still running. Countless times I've pulled out my phone just to see it still ticking away and only had seconds to go before the next segment. Confirmation I have no patience! Hope you find your flow. P.S. I did go back to the app so I could play my own music when I could predict the run timing. On the longer runs you know when your warm up is over and roughly where the halfway mark is. More importantly, you know where you shouldn't reach so I only have to check phone once now, if at all, around the midpoint if I run past my usual turnaround point.
Thanks Sutsha, the Podcasts may be an option, I'll check them out to see if I can put up with the music!!!!
Thankfully I've been running round the local fields so know roughly how long it takes me do a complete lap, which gives me something to go on. I was going to try out a few new routes on these longer runs just to break up the monotony , so really hope it starts working again.
I find it frustrating to keep looking at the time and find that time seems to go slower when you do and even reaching for my phone to check seems to put me off my rhythm, so fingers crossed for my next run.
I have found the apps glitchy all the way along. Fortunately this morning I had noted the timings on my hand so when my phone rang and it crashed (honestly! Who rings someone at 6.45am?!?) I was able to just carry on and check my watch. I use a separate music track and that kept going!
It was fine until W6R3. I uninstalled and reinstalled it yesterday and thankfully all was ok again for this morning. I was cautious though noting the time on my watch when I started running, just in case. Glad I didn't get any early morning calls like you
