Well done you, I bet you're buzzin (as we say in Manchester)!

I've been dreading this day but it's finally here, I'm about to embark on W5 R3 too when I finish work today. Feeling very lethargic today but I'm going to give it my best shot. Slow and steady. Wish me luck :-)

You can do it and when you have finished you will be buzzin πŸ˜ƒ just go like a 🐌

Thanks 'Run-Claire-Run', yes I am buzzin and so will you after you have completed your run, remember, slow and steady. I was watching the 10K Manchester run on TV yesterday, there was one woman who used to be 30 stone, she lost 15 stone and was competing in the Manchester 10k

Well done! It’s a great achievement! Good luck in w6. Watch that first run it can catch a few people out.

Thank you 'wyersmith' I will be careful about w6, I notice it's back to a bit of walking as well.

Well done, it is a strange thing that a twenty minute run takes twenty minutes........

Yes, 20 minutes is 1200 seconds whatever way you look at it. I did the 20 minute run around one of Scotlands beauty spots, namely Linlithgow Loch by the Palace, (20 miles from where I live, I used to go there many times on my bicycle) that is where Mary, Queen of Scots was born in 1542. I met a jogger going the opposite direction and a man walking who shouted to me "your doing great, keep on running" My Smartphone is not compatible to have the C25K app with Laura, however, I do have a laptop and memorise what she says just before I go whatever round it is. The 20 minute round was OK but I had to memorise, especially week 4 as it has so many parts to it, I remembered everything so that round went without a hitch. I do have another app:-run-log.com, it has timings and GPS and a map of where I ran, my quickest pace according to that app was 07.47/km which was in the last 50 metres. Looking forward to week 6, I notice that run 1 has 5 parts to it, I will remember that when I do it on Wednesday near to where I live, which is around another loch.

If your phone is not compatible with the app, it may be compatible with the podcasts, which are MP3 files. healthunlocked.com/couchto5......

Thanks IannodaTruffe, my phone is not compatible with anything up to date, it's 2012 'vintage', full up to the brim, unlike my laptop which has the latest Windows 10 applications, yes I will invest on a new Smartphone sometime, until then I'll correspond with everything on my laptop as I have been doing throughout this C25K training course.
