W5 R3 - actually did it!

So I made it over the scary Week 5 Run 3 hurdle! I was a lot sweatier at the end than at the end of any previous run with the possible exception of W1 R1, but there was no point at which it felt impossible. I found it really helpful a couple of days ago to read the pinned post on this site about why the first part always feels hard, because that had been a problem for me up to that point.

I've now got a few days' break before my next run because of personal circumstances, so I was really keen to make sure I got to W5 R3 before that hiatus.

That's brilliant!!!! Do you feel like a proper runner? I'm doing that run tomorrow.

Am off to look for that pinned post as I always find the first of the runs in a session the hardest.

I'm not QUITE sure if I feel like a proper runner, but I'm definitely sure I'm no longer in any doubt that I'll be able to run for 30mins in only a few weeks' time!

Here it is - my mistake - the pinned post is FAQs and it's one of the links in that. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Well done. Great achievement. It’s amazing what we can do when we want to.

This is my next run on Sunday. Bizarrely, I’m kinda looking forward to it.

Hi great going there, only just in front of you. Do you have a link to the post you refer to? I’d be very interested to read it. Well done on completing the run, you must be chuffed!

Hi, I just tried to post it here but I got a "flagged as inappropriate" error message, perhaps because I'd just posted it in response to the first comment on this thread - see that comment above for the link.
