Any advice for W6 R3?

I was dreading W5R3 but did it but I was on the flat. Doing W6R3 on Friday and some of it will have to be uphill, any suggestions. I could run out a lot further before I turn round but will probably be left with a 15 minute walk at the end but would avoid running up the really steep bits. Any suggestions? The uphill bits are quite steep strata recorded 207ft elevation gain over about a mile, obviously this averages out the steepest bits.

I like the 15 minute walk to avoid the steep bits plan. Not worth the strain on your joints if you don’t normally do that route.

Congratulations on run 3 of week 5, could you not run, run 3 of week 6 on the same route, but go a little further or turn round so that you don't have to walk that 15 minutes, run 3 of week 6 is only 5 minutes more.

I was 200 miles away in Cambridgeshire, I’m back home now in Dorset, I’ve done most of the runs here but with intervals have managed to limit the uphill runs, can’t avoid them all but it’s been manageable, I think I’ll go for the longer walk at the end I can take it slow once the 5mins at the end is done, thanks for support

I suppose if you've done the route on one of the early runs you could give it a go, but go extra slowly? Good luck

Hills are hard. I'd do anything to avoid them until you graduate. Good luck.

If you can't run up the hill any more, turn round and run back down.

Yes I have done that occasionally but not on a longer section I could end up running in circles, my dog already thinks I’m nuts but it’s perhaps the best option, cheers
