Week 4 Run 1 done - already looking forward to Wk 5

After my unauspicious start (when by accident I downloaded the wrong podcast and did the first run for 5k+ twice !) .... I restarted from week 1 and am now into week 4. Already looking forward to Friday when I'll be starting Week 5. If I get through Week 5 and complete the 20 minute run and don't feel shattered afterwards (as I did after my initial accidental 5k+ runs) that will be brilliant !

Well done. Just completed the same run myself. (For the second time - restarted c25k after a period of illness). Wk 5 is just a mental wall. 20 mins is something you can do!

Many thanks for the feedback ! Did the second run of Week 4 earlier this morning - all being well I'll complete Week 4 on Wednesday morning. Fortunately no illness or injuries so far though I'll need to invest in some new trainers and probably (from reading other posts) get my running gait checked to make sure I get the right pair. Good luck with your Week 4 this week and Week 5 Friday.

Yes getting a gait analysis and some proper running shoes is a very good idea. When I did c25k the first time it was about now I got some proper shoes. They hurt on the first run due to the extra support but after that they were worth every penny
