Week 5 Run 1

So unto Week 5 and the first run a succession of 5 min intervals. Felt my recovery and breathing has improved from the training to date.

No problems, followed 5k course and did an extra run and walk to complete the distance. Only potential problem, might be getting a cold.

Listened to Enya, U2, Lana del Rey, X Ray Spex, Dollyrots and Gabreilla Cilmi

Excellent! Enjoy your rest day! Lots of water and Vit C food to ward off that cold!

Yes avoiding colds is difficult as I look after my wonderful grandchildren 2 days a week, but I wouldn't change that for anything.

Can sympathise with you as I also had man flu 🤧 at weekend. Good to hear you’re feeling the benefits of your renewed fitness. Good luck with your running this week
