Despite the apprehension at this week I did it. Was able to run in the morning rather than my usual evening run and think it helped. Felt more refreshed. Those final couple of minutes were a killer though. Definitely want more practice at this one before week 5. Hope everyone is doing well.

Oh well done - you are exactly the same stage as me and I did that run this morning too. It was hard but I think I'm too scared of Laura to stop till she tells me! Like you I think I need some time to feel even vaguely comfortable with this run!
Well done ! No harm in repeating a run if you need more time , theres no pressure at all to do it in the 9 weeks .

Hiya I am on W4R3 tomorrow and have found it tough, run 1 I hated and posted and got loads of helpful advice, completed run 2 on Thursday and am planning to do run 3 tomorrow - like you and Hilary C I am considering doing a couple more attempts before moving to week 5
Maybe Hilary C, nomoreexcuses and Deneice can motivate each other and keep up with each other's runs? Would be great to know there are follow runners at the same stage of the journey 😊
Morning all I'm due to do W4R3 today too. I've not found this week too bad stamina wise but my knee is more than a tad sore this week! Really hope I'm not doing more harm than good!! I've certainly got the running bug though....I can't wait for run days to come round :-). Good luck today everyone x

Did run 1 of week 5 this evening and got through, still find the first run tough so might do a 10 minute walk instead of 5 and see if it makes it easier 😊
Good luck tomorrow - I have been using the podcast but not really gelled with the music, now downloaded the app - changed Laura to Michael Johnson too 😊 You can play your own music too so going to try tomorrow - write off week 4 !!!
Just did my final week 4 run. It didn't feel quite as smooth as the other day but I've done it and quite looking forward to the next one. Definitely going to have to sort out some music now the runs are getting longer. Do you just play your own and laura/ Michael cuts in? X
Yeah brilliant - well done. I did run 2 of week 5 tonight and it's weird it feels okay 😊 I find that the 5 minute warm up isn't long enough, so now I do a decent walk of about 20 minutes and then run and it's going well. Music not got there yet, but now know what to do, I had been doing the c25k as a podcast and couldn't understand why I couldn't do music as everyone else seemed to. If you download the app instead of the podcast you choose your trainer etc and then in the bottom right corner is the music icon, when you click on this it goes to your downloaded playlist - I have 3 songs on my playlist and they are not jogging songs, plan to download at the weekend and then have a go I will send you the link to the app
