Well I did it, week one ✅ I know it says leave a day between each run, but I can’t run until Sunday this week will it make a difference if I leave 2 days in-between runs?

I go from Wednesday to Saturday due to other commitments, I often find Saturday my best one of the 3, its my middle one.

Thank you I don’t want to undo what I have already achieved, which is massive for me, not run since school days back in the 70’s 😊

That’s what I was like, haven’t run since school and will be 50 in January. The first few weeks were the hardest, I seemed to ache from head to toe and didn’t look forward to it. I’ve just started w6 and get really excited at how far I’ve come. Keep up the good work 😁

1970's for me also , I graduate 3weeks ago, I started program back in January I think it took me 16 weeks to complete 9wk program ,

I got there in the end 😂 so don't worry how often you can or can't run ,

Just keep at the program you can do this 👍🏻

I often leave 2 days or more and it doesn’t seem to have made any difference. Life often gets in the way of best laid plans haha

As long as you have at least one rest day between runs, then an extra day or two is not going to be significant. You don't lose much condition for a couple of weeks or so.

The guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.

It’s fine. Most people do three runs a week so have a 2 day rest.

Yup, just what I was about to post. So totally agree :-)

Absolutely fine to the 2 or 3 days between runs if that is what you want to do. 👍

I had a two week rest due to holiday and just kept going (it was early in the program though).

You just need to leave at least one day between runs... more do not matter.. I run Sunday, Tuesday and Friday:)
