I jumped on the scales today and after 7 weeks of following C25K programme along with hiit training once a week I’ve not lost a single pound!!
I’m gonna have to follow a diet 😩😩😩😩

Ahh what an awful reality!
But. Don't be down though....i bet your shape has changed, you're loads fitter, you feel better, you look great and you're building muscle.... Which is much heavier than fat.
Changing you for the better is not measured on scales!! 😊😊😊
That is true - my well-being and fitness feel much stronger!
Bloody scales - I should scrap them!
Actually no, you are not building muscles. Running does not build muscle.
Losing weight is simply down to caloric deficit. If you are in caloric deficit from combnation of exercise and food intake you are losing weight, if not you are not.
I fully understand..... I need to calorie count, I shall keep a food diary on MFP.
I’ve just not needed to before........ joys of getting old 😩
Try the Evolve app. It is like MFP but voice activated. You just press the button on your phone andsay "kale and avocado smoothie, acai berry surprise, double bacon cheeseburger" and it logs it all for you. Saves so much time.
Snap!
You don't need scales and you don't need a diet, just eat a sensible amount of a broad range of food, including plenty of fresh fruit and veg. You need to be in calorie deficit to lose weight and C25k does not burn enough calories to make a significant difference.
If you start running for an hour or more, the weight will start to shift.
One of my daughters friends said “ you can’t outrun a bad diet!”. I’ve been trying though.
