WK 1 take 2 complete 🤩

Hey peeps!! Glad to report that earlier stresses of the year behind me and have just finished week 1 again with Mr P by my side. Am sooooo glad to be back could not wait to get out there tonight, finally got a date for my interview for the supervisors job, next Weds so week to prepare. Loving it!!! That is all 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Mr p is having conversations with his legs lol!! I forgot how good it makes me feel, with all the job stuff it’s just what I need , sounds like your challenge going well? Interview is for the job I’m doing anyway as old supervisor retired a couple of weeks ago, so she’s been training me all year, but still had to apply through proper channels and all that. Fingers crossed 🤞 not great at competency type questions but what will be will be!! 🤪

Oh yes don’t we love competency questions “tell me about a time when you felt under pressure to produce high standards of results, with little time, and no money.”

I think I can hear the Bridezilla example being used!

Challenge going well, body falling apart slightly at the seams. 2019 is the year I will run for fun!

Hahahaha you pretty much nailed it there!! Tell me about a time when you were actually doing the supervisors job and hey we were not paying you for it ...oh that would be now!🤣🤣🤣 good to aim for fun running, but what you are doing is for such a great cause you should be very proud x

I had that 3 times in my old company being congratulated on promotions and the ‘enhanced’ opportunities open to me - just no effing pay rises!

As I pointed out to my boss ‘opportunities’ didn’t pay my bills! Thanks for the good karma message. Did 7km today - flying to London tomorrow, so running waits until Fri/Sat and Sun. I am proud, if slightly bemused that I’ve got this far. Still its a long way to December...:)

Remember your negotiation skills - repeat after me “if you pay me XXXX mega bucks, then I will be delighted to accept the role right away and continue delivering to the standards I have already shown’

My ex company countered with ‘if you don’t want to lose your job, then we recommend you take this role!’ But in principle it works....:)

Nice attitude...hence the ex company!!. I know I can’t get what joy did as she had 20+ years supervisory experience, but I also know that I am in quite a good position as if they want the job to be done I’m the only one that knows it and have told my boss straight that if they bring somebody in over me I will not be training them!! 😜

Everything crossed!! Need you all behind me at 3.30 next weds 😂 yep loving it but intervals are a challenge, just get going and have to stop!! But don’t want to put Mr P off and probably not bad idea for me to start again so don’t risk overdoing it and causing injury!! The 🐢 is back!!

To be fair I have been doing the job since January, just without the pay!! 🤣 just the delicate matter of telling the opinionated one who says “you ain’t my boss” that yes actually Andy I am! 🤔
