Another week complete. Found the first couple of runs today ok the middle two more of a struggle and the last two fine. Think it may be my route as there was a bit of an incline to run up in the middle. Decided changing my route up is better for me. Realised if I stick to the same route I find myself thinking well this is roughly where I was told to start walking last time so not long now. Changing my route means I can switch off and enjoy my podcast.
Anyway onwards to week 3

Well done! Great strategy. It's all about tricking and distracting the mind! Mixing up your run route is a great idea. At some point you can go back and see just how far you've come 😊
I'm not sure I would remember any routes. I don't have any in mind when I start I just choose random roads lol. I've tried c25k a couple of times before but due to injury problems both times I never managed to finish. Feeling more confident this time so fingers crossed.
Ooh, I like random runs! My first attempt at C25K was scuppered by injury too, but it just made me more determined I think (and more cautious too!). Make sure you take each run easy, no pushing hard 😊
I broke my ankle both times. Same ankle, nothing to do with running just walking along the road and both times went over on it. It's been sprained I don't know how many times and I suffer from gout lol. I definitely take it easy I know the plan works even though I never quite finished it. Wk 7 was the furthest I got and at times I was probably running too fast. So this time it's slow and steady and fingers crossed its not the 3rd summer in a row with a break lol
