Week 2 complete

Finished Week 2 at Parkrun, was already quite hot at 9am and some poor chap running in the park was carted off in an ambulance just as we were starting. Was glad I had had plenty to drink.

Decided to add a few more 60 second intervals just to finish the coarse - not sure if it's a great idea to stray from the programme but felt up for it. Knocked almost 2 minutes off my 5km time.

Is it really 3 minute runs next week???

Yes week 3 three minute runs. Very brave to join the park run but well done.

Nothing wrong with a couple of extra reps if you got them in the tank... good job.

Great run Paul, well done! I loved watching my times tumble as I was allowed to run for more and more time. Enjoy your running!

Sounds like you’re going to have no problem with the 3 minute runs! You’re brave enough to take on a park run, so that’s saying something about your personality! W2 I was hiding away snailing around my local park! 😅🏃‍♀️

Go smash W3! 👊
