Hey folks

Well, I was due to run Wk 6, R 1 yesterday evening, but time just did not permit. Shame, because it rained too and I like running in the rain πŸ™„

Anyway, I took the advice from those suggesting it was best to go from Wk 6, R 1 again, rather than from R 2. So I did this run this afternoon. My blisters hurt, but I noticed a quarter way through my run, that they rubbed more so when walking, than when running, so that was good 😊

I do hope MarkyD agrees with my attire today, for what you can see in pic, haha. I wondered after my last post whether you thought I only had blue trainers, but I also have pink ones and those are what I wore when I wore my pink top in my last post, lol. I haven't shown my pink trainers though in any uploads, but I aim to please and I'm glad you're keeping me on my toes MarkyD! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜†πŸ€— Still waiting for a couple of new tops...so watch this space, lol.

Think I may need to do leg strengthening, as they seem to tire more quickly than my breathing does. Any advice is gladly welcome πŸ‘πŸƒπŸƒπŸ‹

Thanks lovelies!

well done and love the top and trainers. I am still in grey and black, trying to hide I suppose. I find socks very important to prevent blisters, sure you have lovely ones!

Onwards to the rest of week 6

Thank you KoKo30 😊

The bottoms are new, Karrimor Lite Capris Β£8 in the sale 😎 The top is an old one about 18 months old in my procrastinating moments of whether I should keep fit or not, so I bought it just in case πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I LOVE your your outfit. I've found spinning has really strengthened my legs and helped my running.

Aww, thank you Rebecca. I'll enquire about the spinning when I'm next at the gym πŸ‘

Well done!!! And I love those pink trainers! Are they asics? I can't remember what ones you said you prefer?!

Do you have the extra comfy running socks? I found they really helped when I could run, and I was lucky enough not to get a blister! Shame I can't say the same for my knee!!😒

Keep on and you'll be at week 9 very soon!! 😲😁😁x

Awe, thanks Lisa. Yes, both the pink and blue are Asics, though different engines in them πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚(oh I found that funny then haha), I mean in terms of that the pink are Gel Contend 4 and the blue are Gel Galaxy 9. Totally different fit, though just as comfortable. I think the Orthotic insole makes a difference in pink ones and they were about Β£20 on top of trainers πŸ™„ The gel bubbles are really soothing.

You'll be there before long, just get your knee sorted. The thing is, is that these injuries take a while and can be quite infuriating. Fingers crossed it won't be long for you now. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ x
