High 5-ing myself! W6R3 in the bag!

Omg I just ran for 25 minutes nonstop! I know it was slower than an arthritic tortoise on crutches- but I did it and won’t have to repeat it!! Onward to W7R1!!

When you get to 25 mins, you’ve nailed it. The increases are negligible now that you can run that long. Well done 💪🏽

Thanks all. I feel that this is THE major hurdle for me. As Tasha99 says, once 25 minutes is in the bag, the increase to 30 minutes is less proportionately than the previous increase, so I feel I can relax a bit now. I took it sooo slowly though because I reckoned I'd rather complete than repeat. Next time I might dare to go a tiny bit faster for a few of those minutes. To be honest, I wasn't half as knackered at the end as I had expected to be. I felt I could do it all again. Always the tortoise. Never the hare.

I w got that run to look forward to next week.... just did wk6 run1. 20 mins was ok last week but those extra 5 mins....!

That's what I thought, so I dropped my pace deliberately. As someone else has said, it's 25 minutes whether you run fast or jog slow. Common sense dictates the latter.
