At the beginning of March I found out I have T2 diabetes, this has given me the kick up the bum this overweight, unfit 43 year old has needed for a long time. Time to eat better and get fitter!
I decided to give C25K a go, I’ve really impressed myself with how well I’ve been doing and yes actually enjoying it!
I repeated week one, just didn’t believe I was ready for week 2, but I’ve now done W2. The only downside to it is my hips are agony the evening of my run and for a when I get up the next morning, they’re usually ok by mid-morning. I’ve been making sure to stretch them before and after running, I’m just wondering if I’m doing something wrong!
I’m now at the point where I think I need to lose more weight and go back to week one again!
