I was thrilled this morning to finish C25K. There really were times I thought I may not be able to do this. In week 4 I had to repeat a run but honestly I trusted the programme. This little community which I’ve watched and read from the sidelines has been so incredibly helpful.
I can’t manage 5K in 30 mins but I did carry on to see how long it would take me and it’s 32.5 mins so I’ll keep trying. I am now looking at three weeks of consolidation runs repeating week 9 with a different coach before moving on to the podcasts.
I don’t think I want to run a longer distance I’m quite happy with 3 x 5K runs a week, I’d like to get that under 30 mins but I’m really happy with my progress so far.
Advice - trust the programme and keep checking back in to this community, just reading the posts has given me enough motivation to get up and run on the days when I could quite easily have skipped a run 🏃🏽♀️
